Along with Her Majesty and many conservatives around the world, I am truly saddened at the passing of Baroness Thatcher.
But at the same time, I am forever grateful that she lived and fought. She was my Prime Minister as I grew up in the UK, and was a keen influence on my political philosophy during my formative years. Her consistent approach to conservatism and free market principles resulted in a better nation and a better world.
Now, that world is a wee bit emptier today at her passing, but is much fuller today because of her living.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family, and my thanks will never end.
