Alice Temperley May Make Duchess Of Cambridge Maternity Wear

Alice Temperley, a well-known fashion designer has caught attention after her father alluded in an interview that she may make maternity wear for the now in excess of 12-week pregnant Duchess Of Cambridge, Royal sources have reported.
Temperley is well known in the fashion world and her work is highly regarded by many well-known faces.
Alice Temperely is said to be one of the Duchess Of Cambridge’s favourite fashion designers.
“Kate has been very generous to Alice and British fashion in general, and so polite – she always sends a thank-you card, ” says Alice’s father, Julian Temperley “Now, I imagine, they will be in need of baby clothes.”
The Somerset born 37-year-old fashion designer holds the MBE for services to the fashion design industry and has worked for the Duchess on previous occasions.
Wearers of her designs have included The Duchess of Cambridge, her sister Pippa Middleton, Halle Berry, Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Mendez, Claire Danes, Sienna Miller, Florence Welch, Demi Moore, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Keira Knightley, Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Reese Witherspoon, Rosario Dawson, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Kate Beckinsale, Emma Watson and Scarlett Johansson.
In spring of 2010 Temperley London launched a sister brand ‘ALICE by Temperley’, targeted at a younger demographic and containing more affordable and casual pieces. ALICE by Temperley debuted at leading department stores around the world.
Alice Temperely’s father also added comparison by saying: “She [The Duchess Of Cambridge] has everything going for her, and everything Diana didn’t. She’s got her mother, her brother, sister, father. Diana didn’t have her family support, even at the beginning, and she was 10 years younger than Kate.”
