Prince William and wife the Duchess of Cambridge have been praised for their modern approach to parenthood by Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith.
“They’re doing absolutely brilliant,’ the proud family member tells Grazia magazine. “Kate has her feet so solidly on the the ground and WIlliam knows his own mind.”
‘They’re incredibly modern,” he adds. “They’ll be everywhere together. I don’t think they will pass the responsibility of their babies to other people.”
The brother of the Duchess’ mum Carole Middleton adds that William, Kate and little George will come as a family now. “You’ll see them as a unit of three now rather than a unit of two.”
William and Kate welcomed their first child, Prince George, on July 22 and have been enjoying parenthood ever since.
Last week, the Duchess made a radiant return to royal duties as she joined her husband to start the Ring O’Fire marathon in Anglesey. New mum Kate made a last minute decision to accompany William on the engagement as a special thank you to the people of Anglesey for their support.
The proud parents are expected to move to London permanently later this month as they take up official residence at Kensington Palace. The Duke’s tour of duty comes to an end in Anglesey and it is thought William will take up a role in London to be close to his wife and their six-week-old son.
