The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to give birth any day now, and as the world waits for the arrival of the royal baby, the Duchess of Cornwall has revealed she is excitedly awaiting the new born.
“We are very excited, immensely looking forward to it and waiting for that call,” Camilla revealed to reporters on Thursday.
The Duchess was speaking as she attended the preview day of the Coronation Festival, which is taking place at Buckingham Palace. The event is being held to celebrate the Queen’s 60th anniversary of her Coronation.
Camilla, joined The Queen, Prince Charles and other members of the Royal Family as they were given a tour of the event which is being held by the Royal Warrant Holders Association, Media 10 and the Royal household.
The royals, also including Princess Anne and the Earl and Countess of Wessex, were given a first look at the festival, which is being held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.
Prince Charles joked “It won’t be long now,” after seeing a range of commemorative china range to mark the Royal Baby’s arrival.
Earlier this week, Prince William’s cousin, Peter Phillips, told CNN he believes the Prince and wife Kate will be great parents.
“They will make great parents and it’s great to be able to welcome another child into the family,” Peter told CNN’s royal correspondent Max Foster.
