The Earl and Countess of Wessex carry out seven engagements this week.
Monday 9th September
His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex is in Norfolk today to visit The London Regiment at Stanford Training Area in Thetford. The Earl is the Royal Honorary Colonel of the Regiment.
Today and tomorrow Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal continues her duties as the British member of the International Olympic Committee at its 125th meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This evening His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent is attending a Hanover Band concert at Stationers Hall in London. The Duke is Patron of the Band which was formed in 1980.
Tuesday 10th September
This evening The Earl of Wessex is attending a ‘Best of British’ Gala at London’s Guildhall. Hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of London, the Gala is a celebration of British business and culture and raises money for the Lord Mayor’s charitable fund.
Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex is visiting the ‘Giving Voice’ photography exhibition in London today as Patron of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester visits Reigate in Surrey today. The Duchess is opening the refurbished Sandcross Primary School and visiting the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, of which she is President.
Wednesday 11th September
Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall celebrate 21 years of Duchy Originals products today with an event in the grounds of Clarence House. Profits from the sale of Duchy Originals products are donated to The Prince’s charities.
The Prince of Wales is also hosting a reception at Clarence House today for young people from 16 countries who are taking part in one of The Prince’s charities’ initiatives, the Mosaic Leadership Programme.
Their Royal Highneses The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry are attending BGC Partners Charity Day today, representing their charities SkillForce and WellChild.
Thursday 12th September
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall are visiting Stanmore in Middlesex today. Their Royal Highnesses are opening The Bentley Priory Battle of Britain Trust’s new museum and meeting Battle of Britain veterans. The event will include a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. His Royal Highness is Patron of The Bentley Priory Battle of Britain Trust.
Their Royal Highness The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are attending the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards at The Royal Society, London. His Royal Highness is Patron of Tusk, a charity that helps to protect Africa’s wildlife and develops African communities.
The Earl of Wessex is hosting a reception at St. James’s Palace today for young people who have achieved the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award. His Royal Highness is Trustee of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and is expected to inherit the title of Duke of Edinburgh from his father.
The Countess of Wessex is visiting the Westmorland County Show in Cumbria today. Her Royal Highness is Patron of the Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations.
Today The Princess Royal is attending the International Dragon World Championships at Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy in Dorset. Her Royal Highness is President of the Royal Yachting Association and Patron of the 2013 International Dragon Class World Championships. Later The Princess celebrates 50 years of The Injured Jockeys Fund today by attending an event at The Mall Gallery in London. Her Royal Highness is Patron of the charity, which helps injured jockeys who have been forced to give up riding because of their injuries.
His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester opens the new Finchley Memorial Hospital and Health Campus at Granville Road in London today.
This evening The Duchess of Gloucester is attending a fundraising gala event for Prostate Cancer UK at London’s Millenium Mayfair Hotel. Her Royal Highness is Royal Patron of Prostate Cancer UK, launched in 1996 to raise awareness and fight the disease.
Friday 13th September
The Earl of Wessex visits South Yorkshire today. His Royal Highness will see Booth Brothers Limited and Tata Steel in Sheffield and is attending the Town Hall Business Showcase in Barnsley. Later The Earl is attending a Battle of Britain Dinner at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire as its Honorary Air Commodore.
The Countess of Wessex is in Roxburghshire today for the Kelso Ram Sales at Springwood Park, Kelso. The Countess is Bicentenary Patron of the Border Union Agricultural Society.
Saturday 14th September
In Southampton The Duke of Gloucester is attending a charity clay shoot for Canine Partners for Independence. The Duke is Patron of the charity, which trains and provides assistance dogs for people with disabilities.
This weekend The Duchess of Gloucester is in Croatia. For two days Her Royal Highness is attending the Davis Cup in Umag as Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association.
Sunday 15th September
The Duke of Gloucester is attending a Japan400 event at Banqueting House in London today. Japan400 celebrates 400 years of Japan-British relations and His Royal Highness is Patron of the Japan Society.
