HRH The Earl of Wessex is due to begin a 4-day visit to the United States of America just a few days after Prince Harry finished his much-acclaimed tour of the States.
Prince Edward will be ‘carrying out engagements in the United States, according to the Royal website’.
Prince Harry made a visit just a few days before Prince Edward goes tomorrow; from 9th-16th, where he took part in many charitable activities in the States, especially on behalf of his charity Sentebale and including the Warrior Games for inured servicemen.
Prince Edward’s ‘tour’ starting tomorrow will be relatively more low key but will also be in the name of charity.
The Countess of Wessex is not expected to be joining him on his 4-day tour, though the couple are to become the most travelling royals in June when they visit Sweden for the wedding of Princess Madeleine, Bulgaria from 23rd-24th June, Romania from 24th-26th and Slovenia from 26th-28th June.
The Earl of Wessex is 7th in line to the throne and performs many engagements in his own right, with his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex and on behalf of his mother, Her Majesty The Queen.
