According to the Daily Mail, Zara, who is 14th in line to the throne, was denied entry to an enclosure at the Cheltenham Festival today after a security guard failed to identify Zara and her husband Mark Tindall.
Mike was apparently left chuckling to himself whilst Zara argued with the security guard.
Zara was later spotted looking happy and relaxed as she chatted with jockey Tony McCoy’s wife, Chanelle.
Eventually, according to the Mail, Zara too saw the funny side.
Zara Phillips is a known horsewoman and is keen, like her mother Princess Anne on all things to do with equestrianism and even holds an MBE for services to equestrianism.
Zara Phillips married Mike Tindall, a rugby player, in 2011, shortly after the wedding of Prince William and the then Kate Middleton.
Ms Phillips, as she continues to be called, is the only daughter and 2nd out of two children of HRH The Princess Royal and her now divorced husband, Mark Phillips.
She participated in the Summer Olympic Games in London last year and won a team silver medal in the equestrian events.

Lord Mountbatten’s sister Louise was married to the king of Sweden, making her Queen Louise of Sweden. When visiting London she reportedly carried a card in her purse that said “I am the Queen of Sweden” because she didn’t think anyone would recognize if she were hit by a vehicle, as she almost was once. You’d think that if the security guard was so poorly informed as to not recognize Zara, he would at least recognize her sports star husband.
