During the exhibition Prince Harry was greeted by a whole sea of screaming female fans as female members of staff working in the building came out in force to welcome the 3rd in line to the throne to Washington. Senator McCain himself remarked upon the large turnout, saying: ”I noticed a pro-ponderous amount of media coverage is of one gender”.
The Prince, showing no signs of jet lag, showed a genuine interest in what Senator McCain and his other guides were saying about the exhibition which was setup by the HALO trust.
The Prince was given an in depth look into how mine detection kit works before going towards the end of the exhibition and being led out to prepare for the next stage of his time in America.
