His Royal Highness Prince Harry today begins his week-long official stay in America where he will perform a series of engagements on behalf of charities he supports and representing the United Kingdom and the British Royal Family.
Prince Harry last made a visit to America in May 2012 when he attended a reception at the British Ambassador’s residence in Washington, where he met teams of British and American veteran athletes who had taken part in the 2012 Warrior Games.
He will visit many iconic places in America including Washington DC, where he will attend an exhibition on Capitol Hill on landmine clearance and the British Ambassador’s Reception. Also there he will visit Arlington National Cemetery and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre.
He’ll also be going to New York city where he’ll join an event to promote the GREAT campaign, a community baseball programme involving a new partnership with the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, a Royal Foundation fundraising event.
Prince Harry will visit victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey and also Connecticut where he’ll join the Sentebale polo cup.
Prince Harry is scheduled to arrive by commercial flight in the afternoon Washington time, which will be this evening/night for Britain.
