A few weeks ago, we wrote to the Public information office at Buckingham Palace regarding The Queen’s impending visit to Bristol on 22nd November.
In their reply, they said that further details for the visit would be available from 13th/14th November, after trapsing through the Royal website for a good half-an-hour, we found the very well-hidden and obscure section where the details were.
In true Royal fashion, specific timings and the like will not be announced until a few days before the day, but there are 3 major visits internally where Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were visiting. The picture to the right of this shows exactly what it said.
There are likely to be more places Her Majesty will visit and at different times, however we won’t know more, as I said, until a matter of days before the arrival.
The basics at the moment detail that Her Majesty and His Royal Highness are due to visit Bailey’s Caravan Park in Bristol, followed by Bristol Old Vic and then for a lunch at the not-long-since refurbished M-Shed.
There will, I’m sure, be plenty of opportunities for meet & greet sessions as per usual, and we will give more details here when they become available.
Also, follow us on Twitter for live updates as and when.
UPDATE – 15/11/2012 15:46 GMT: Another engagement for Her Majesty’s visit to Bristol has been confirmed, she will also visit Hartcliffe and Withywood Ventures, The Gatehouse Centre, Hareclive Road, Hartcliffe, Bristol, after visiting the M-Shed for a lunch.
