Her Majesty will host His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Windsor Castle for a State Visit which will span over 2 days on 30th April.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh paid a State Visit to United Arab Emirates at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in 2010.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh paid an earlier State Visit to the United Arab Emirates visiting The Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1979. Equally, the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan paid a State Visit to the United Kingdom in 1989.

Her Majesty will be rolling out the red carpet for this inbound state visit at Windsor Castle. His Highness will be greeted by a full compliment from the Household Division and including a ride in a carriage with the Queen alongside a State Dinner; the usual form for inbound state visits.

The last state visit Her Majesty hosted was that of The President of the Republic of Indonesia and Mrs. Yudhoyono on 31st October to 2nd November 2012, at Buckingham Palace.
